Rooted in culture. Growing together.
A school. A community. A shared belief in the connections that language creates.
More than words.
A world of belonging.
Learning Hindi is one way to keep family stories, conversations and cultural traditions alive. South Asian Hindi School brings language learning and cultural connection together for its community.
The school opened in Kogarah in February 2015 for first- and second-generation migrant families in Sydney’s St George area. Parramatta followed for Western Sydney, then Schofields for the north-west, and live online classes now reach families anywhere. It is run by South Asian Australian Association Incorporated, a not-for-profit association, and is a Community Languages School approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Our motto: successful and responsible children who keep strong links with their family and community. Our philosophy: preserving cultural heritage and community ties supports every child’s wellbeing.
